职位描述
POSITION SUMMARY: The position is critical in the development and execution of distribution and re-distribution partnership strategies. The role manages distributor and re-distributor networks, sells to product users and manages the territory’s distribution network. The position oversees and is accountable for the pipeline of sales opportunities, from validation through quoting and results analysis, in the assigned territory.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: · Achieve sales revenue numbers and budget goals · Assist in setting monthly, quarterly and annual sales budets and objectives · Make regularly scheduled sales calls on all major customers within region · Submit detailed quotation requests along with tactical recommendations for capturing new business opportunities · Provide feedback to management from customers and territory ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The position is measured primarily by sales, margin, market share, customer satisfaction, and gallon growth to Focus Market customers, driven primarily through the PFD Business Development, Marketing, GAM, Sales, and Technical organizations. These objectives are achieved through execution in the following dimensions:· Direct Relationship Development and Management:Develop and maintain direct relationships throughout the market with significant end user clients Develop and maintain relationships with all distribution partners in the region · Distributors Management: Educate, develop and manage distributor sales force to consistently present Sherwin Williams and our value added selling approach Assign sales targets and develop metrics for their accountability Work with the distributors sales force in training sessions, sales calls and shows Ensure distributors are consistently utilizing selling tools: sample requests, quote requests
